Studio Tenn, CPA to Present ‘The Sound of Music’

The hills will be alive in Tennessee this summer as family favorite, The Sound of Music, comes to life on the Soli Deo Center stage at Christ Presbyterian Academy (CPA). The production is a collaboration with local regional theatre Studio Tenn and will run June 22 through July 16, 2023 as an add-on to Studio Tenn’s current Mainstage Season.

The Sound of Music follows Maria, a postulate nun, who becomes governess for the von Trapp children. Maria brings music and joy back to the family, but Austria is on the doorstep of World War II. Eventually, Maria and the von Trapps are forced into a moral decision.
