Support Studio Tenn

Ticket sales alone cannot sustain the operations of Middle Tennessee's top-rated professional theatre company.
As a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, Studio Tenn would not exist without the generous ongoing support of our community.

Cash Gift: Writing a check or giving online is also a great way to have an immediate impact by helping to fund our current season on stage.

Planned Giving

Studio Tenn appreciates and values the long-term support provided through financial and estate plans. Your planned gift ensures our artistic, educational, and community programs’ longevity and our capacity to expand performing art’s engagement for future generations. From naming us in your will to creating a financially advantageous plan, there are numerous ways to make a planned gift.

Bequest: Including Studio Tenn in your will helps us propel the theatre arts forward for future generations. This gift costs nothing during your lifetime and is exempt from federal estate tax.

Gifts from Retirement Accounts: If you’re 70½ or older, you can use a qualified charitable distribution to make a charitable gift of up to $100,000 directly from your IRA to Studio Tenn.  Qualified charitable distributions count toward your required minimum distribution each year, allowing you to donate money you would otherwise have to pay income tax on.

Life Insurance: You can name Studio Tenn Theatre Company as a whole or partial beneficiary on an existing policy or transfer ownership on a policy you no longer need.

Charitable Split Interest Trusts: Establishing a charitable remainder or charitable lead trust is a great way to benefit both your family and Studio Tenn Theatre Company.  Consult with your estate planning professional about the benefits you can receive by creating a charitable trust with Studio Tenn Theatre Company.
